The 21st edition of Paris Photo, the world’s leading art fair for Photography, is held from Thursday, November 9 through Sunday, November 12, 2017, in the historic Grand Palais in the heart of Paris.
The fair reunites 159 galleries and 30 art book dealers from 30 countries across four sectors to present the most important selection of exceptional image-based artworks for its most expansive edition to date.

Public programming is an essential component of the fair featuring curated exhibitions, on- and off-site installations, radio broadcasting, awards, film screenings, and an extensive programme of book-signing sessions, conversation and talks.
This year, Paris Photo is proud to present a new screening programme with mk2 Grand Palais. In addition to video projects presented by participating galleries, a selection of feature length films and shorts is also proposed by this year’s guest curators. Thursday, November 9, Marin Karmitz (distributor, producer and director) proposes three feature length films, including two avant-premieres. Friday through Sunday, November 10–12, Matthieu Orléan (Artistic Advisor for the Cinémathèque française and guest curator for the gallery video sector) proposes a selection of long and short-length films.
